The Fraser River is not only home to a variety of fascinating wildlife and species, it’s the hub for our own recreation and enjoyment, too. We encourage every visitor to hop onto the Fraser River Trail just outside our door by foot, on a bike, or even on cross-country skis to enjoy the peaceful sounds, the majestic scenery, and possibly a glimpse of a moose, beaver or deer. Picnic tables, benches and educational signs dot the trail, encouraging continued conversation. There’s no better way to end your Headwaters River Journey experience than a visit to the river we need to protect!
