Upcoming Kids’ Learning Labs

Our Kids’ Learning Lab is a free, engaging educational program for children aged 6 to 12, designed to immerse kids in nature through hands-on activities, crafts, and games.  Children will participate in activities such as collecting macroinvertebrates from the river and identifying wildflowers, all while learning about water, ecology, and conservation in the process. Each session includes a tour of the Headwaters River Journey Museum, enhancing their understanding through real-world examples. We collaborate with local organizations like Rocky Mountain National Park, Headwaters Trail Alliance, and Grand County Water Information Network to provide enriching and diverse experiences. Thanks to the generous support of the Fraser River Valley Lions Club, we are able to offer this program for free.
