Join Friends of Berthoud Pass for a FREE avalanche awareness class! No registration is required. This class is sponsored by and will be held at Headwaters Center in Winter Park.

This Avalanche awareness class will be covering topics such as identifying avalanche hazards, observing weather, terrain and snowfall, and companion rescue. This class is a perfect introduction for novices and also a great refresher for more experienced backcountry travelers.
