The story of the Fraser River is intricately connected to the history of Colorado’s Front Range. Can we learn from past events to protect the Fraser Valley in the future? Author and water educator, Tom Cech, is now Co-Director of the One World One Water Center at Metropolitan State University of Denver and served as Manager of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District in Greeley for nearly three decades. He has taught at the University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University, and is a visiting professor at the University per Stranieri di Perugia in Italy. Tom has authored/co-authored and edited six books on water resources policy, law, and history. Several of these books are currently used at universities around the world.
