Artist & Educator Lorena Stokeld
Lorena is from Argentina and studied Art at the University of Cordoba, Argentina. After moving to the United States in 2000, she received a Bachelor in Arts from the University of Houston and a Master’s Degree in Education and Multicultural Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She recently moved to Fraser with her four kids and husband. For the past thirteen years, Lorena has been teaching Bilingual education and Art in Texas and Colorado. Her expertise is in oil painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculptural ceramics.
Chef & Instructor Katie Hardie
Certified Nutrition Therapy Practitioner with an interest in human performance and excellence, Katie has pursued educational and career avenues that have incorporated strength and conditioning, sports and performance psychology, personal cheffing, and nutrition. She integrates aspects from each of these disciplines into comprehensive holistic programs to optimize performance as well as to help families navigate the kitchen. Katie learns what interests and motivates individuals and in turn creates customized programs that provide the “why’s” behind the specific steps that support achieving those goals.
Masks are required. Each child will have their own station and ingredients. Children will get to take home their creations, recipes, and art supplies. All participants will be required to sign a release of liability and COVID-19 waiver sent to them via email after tickets are purchased. Parents are welcome to drop the participants off and come pick them up at the end of class or hang out on the terrace/lawn during the workshop.
