Headwater was a beautiful to place to have both our ceremony and reception. Due to having an early November wedding, the venue was very accommodating, moving our outdoor ceremony to an indoor one day of when things took a turn weather wise. Also, I highly recommend springing for free guest admission to the river and water museum downstairs. There are great photo ops under the giant plaster trout if nothing else!

We could not of been more happy with our experience at Headwaters. Not only is the venue incredibly gorgeous, but Brittany and Lisa were so attentive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. We felt so taken care of and our ideas were supported. They were so accommodating and we felt like they were just as excited as we were for our wedding. Also, the venue itself was perfect - so much space for dancing, dining, and socializing. We even had a sudden rain storm that started 20 minutes before our cocktail hour and the Headwaters team flipped the bar area into an indoor cocktail hour room before our guests arrived. Our guests thought the space was so beautiful and had an incredible time!

We got married at the Headwaters center this September and could not recommend this venue enough! The ceremony site is gorgeous and the barn is just so beautiful. Both Brittany and Lisa made the planning process and day of go so smoothly, and were so great to work with. We had the perfect wedding day and are so happy we chose to get married at the Headwaters Center.

The team at Headwaters was fantastic! Such a great place for a wedding, all of our guests loved the layout and had such a great time.

I can't recommend this location enough! Lisa and Brittany were wonderful to schedule the venue and made the contract side a breeze. They both wanted our day to be super special and accommodate what we wanted. The staff during the wedding were all kind, warm, and professional to us and our guests. Very reasonably priced and the virtual tour is spot on to what the location looks like in person. Take it from someone who first saw the venue in person the day before their wedding lol!

The Headwaters Center was the perfect venue for our special day! The rustic reception area and outdoor ceremony space on the lawn were beautiful with a stunning mountain backdrop. If that weren't enough, it felt amazing to use our wedding funds to support a non-profit water conservation museum! Pricing was very reasonable and we enjoyed a huge discount for an off-season wedding.

This venue was a dream. It is SO beautiful inside, you barely need any decor. It was also affordable compared to other venues we looked at, despite the incredible location and beauty of the space. We LOVED this venue for our 175 guests (it could have fit more). And, we hired a band and they sounded great in the venue. My only flag would be that we definitely relied on our externally hired, but local wedding planner who was familiar with the venue and the staff. She really helped us understand how make the most of the space and coordinate with vendors. Without her, the staff at Headwaters was not as organized as we would have liked. It took extra communication, tracking, and a high level of "review" to make sure the venue staff was on track. We often had to correct emails, documents, and other details and had to wait longer than we would have liked for responses to our questions. Thankfully, I am very detail oriented as was our wedding planner. The only other note would be they host a very simple bar. If you are someone who wants complex cocktails or lots of specific bar options, this would not be a good option. Despite this, the venue was perfect for us and the day went off without a hitch!

We had our wedding in December at Headwaters Center and it was a dream come true for my husband and I. Brittany and Lisa were amazing at coordinating and helping us plan. The had endless patience for the million questions we inevitably had and even worked out time to include my husband in the planning despite him being in a time zone 7 hours ahead of Colorado. They were well organized, very friendly, and of course the most helpful people we could have asked for. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was the perfect winter mountain wedding. The venue is exceptionally beautiful and the main barn area was the perfect rustic mountain ski town vibe we were going for. Not to mention the doors open to a beautiful view of the Winter Park Ski Resort. Thank you, Brittany and Lisa, for making our wedding dreams come true!

Lisa and Brittany were great and easy to work with. Their staff the night of the event were amazing too. We loved that they offered a chance to give business to the local community through their local package. Working with Lisa, Brittany and the Headwater’s team was one of the easiest parts of wedding planning and the day of event.

We had the most amazing and beautiful wedding reception thanks to Brittany, Lisa and the HWC staff. Brittany and Lisa were incredibly helpful during the planning process and let us stop in a number of times to show our parents, ask questions and get a feel for the layout. They were very responsive and provided really helpful feedback and suggestions throughout. Everything turned out even better than we had imagined. The recommended vendors on their website helped us find a delicious caterer for our event, Bold BBQ, that knocked it out of the park. All around, a wonderful experience, not to mention a gorgeous setting for a mountain reception. The reclaimed barn took our breath away! The space spoke for itself and allowed us to go simple with decorations. They also allow overnight parking, and with lodging nearby our guests could enjoy themselves without the worry of driving. Highly recommend!

The space at Headwaters Center is absolutely breathtaking, with its rustic architecture, charming ambiance, and mountain views, that made for stunning photos and an unforgettable atmosphere. What truly made our experience exceptional, though, was the incredible staff. From the moment we booked, they were helpful, responsive, and attentive to every detail. On the day of the wedding, they ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our celebration. We had some special requests, and are so grateful for their hard work and dedication, which made our wedding day truly perfect. We highly recommend Headwaters Center to any couple looking for a venue that combines beauty with outstanding service!

We had our April wedding at the Headwaters Center and it was incredible! The space is beautiful, with great views of the mountains, and we received a ton of compliments on the venue from our guests. Brittany and Lisa were great to work with - very detailed, organized, and so kind. They were very responsive and answered all of the questions that we had. They helped make sure the day went smoothly and coordinated with our planner. We lucked out with great weather so it was especially nice to be able to use the balcony during cocktail hour and our guests really enjoyed taking photos outside too. Headwaters has a great location too because it's close to downtown Winter Park, which made it easy to find hotel blocks and book other weekend events close together. I highly recommend Headwaters!

Our guests enjoyed taking advantage of the September hiking and mountain biking scene, and since almost everyone flew in from out of state, the reasonable distance from Denver airport was a huge pro. The barn is an absolute dream -- pictures truly don't do this space justice. We found that we saved a lot of money on decor because the bones of the space are beautiful as is! The large area allows a lot of flexibility in layout to best suit your needs and creativity. The outdoor balcony was a great space to soak in the mountain view earlier in the night, and a great escape for guests wanting some air away from the dance floor later in the evening. Headwaters supplied propane heaters which were a lifesaver after the sun went down! This was totally out of their control, but we were a little disappointed with the construction next to the lawn. There was no active construction during our event, however the green unfinished building was quite an eye sore. There is a decent amount of construction in the area. Overall we had an amazing experience. We loved the flexibility the venue gave us to be creative, the proximity to Winter Park activities and stays, the character of the space, the mountain view from the reception space, and the value of your dollar!

Choose HWC if you want a mountain wedding with easy logistics. Lisa and Brittany are professional, easy going, organized, helpful, and just AMAZING!!! I had been in contact with Lisa for a few weeks prior to our tour of the venue, and she was a large part of why we said "yes" to HWC. Lisa and Brittany answered all of my questions quickly, no matter how silly, and are very detail oriented. They made our day so seamless and perfect. If you're a Bride or Groom, HWC was a perfect place to get married. Transportation was no hassle, the space worked great. There are BEAUTIFUL photo opportunities around the space (check out the pond). It's very accessible. Also, we just walked across the street for our after party at Winter Park Pub. Our Airbnb was just down the street. It was perfect logistically and everyone had fun. Thank you sosososo much Lisa and Brittany for being THE BEST!!!!

Lisa and Brittany at Headwaters Center were wonderful to work with! I abruptly had to change my reception venue and they were quick to save the day but confirming my date was open and walking me through the process of how to proceed with everything from beverages to venue layout to logistics with the caterer and DJ. The venue was so beautiful, I did not have to spend extra money on decorations. My guests are still talking about the views and the ease of access. My caterer even mentioned how much his team loves to work at Headwaters. Planning another wedding might be the death of me, but if I had to- I would choose Headwaters Center every time.

We LOVED having our wedding here! Lisa and Brittany were awesome to work with. Headwaters was an amazing venue, not only for the gorgeous high ceilings with modern interior vibes, but the events managers were responsive and so tentative, especially the day of. Everything was perfect and you can have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one.

We had our wedding at headwaters and I cannot say enough good things about Lisa, Brittany and the staff at Headwaters. I actually am really going to miss talking to them now that our wedding is over. They were BEYOND accommodating during the entire 1.5 years of wedding planning. And the venue… spectacular. I honestly don’t think there’s a better venue in Colorado than this. It is a perfect mix of rustic barn while also having a wrap around deck that guests got to hangout outside and view the mountains from. If you are considering having your wedding here, you will not be disappointed!!

This venue is beautiful and perfect for what I needed!! I was an out of state bride (from Ohio) with about 50 guests coming and the day of was perfect!! Unfortunately, it did rain on my day.. but we were able to open the barn doors for my cocktail hour and still felt outside for it. The bar service was awesome, and our photos on site- BREATHE TAKING!!! Appreciative of everything Brittany and Lisa did for me, even if it was answering a silly question over email!

Headwaters is an amazing venue - it is so beautiful inside and out. We held our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was the most beautiful venue. We didn't have to decorate much because the venue truly speaks for itself. Lisa and Brittany were always responsive and very easy to work with. They helped ensure everything went super smoothly on the day and worked seamlessly with all of our vendors. They went above and beyond to help us have custom signature cocktails which really added a special touch to our wedding. We could not recommend Headwaters Center as a wedding venue highly enough!

Just amazing. Headwaters is such a scenic venue and area. Lisa and Brittany were so accommodating, professional, attentive and kind. We absolutely loved that Headwaters is a nonprofit that works on water conservation and the venue fees go towards supporting their mission. Our day was seamless. My one suggestion is to ask about the end time when signing your contract. Brittany and Lisa helped us update our end time without any issue as we got close to the wedding - we just weren’t clear on the standard time guests must be out of the venue. Overall, it didn’t not detract from our experience and we still highly recommend Headwaters!

We had an amazing experience with Headwaters Our experience with Headwaters was amazing from start to finish. Lisa and her team (including Brittany and all of the staff) were so helpful every step of the way. They were fantastic with communication and helped to ease our minds with all of the various questions or concerns that come along with wedding planning. The scenery at Headwaters was breathtaking and our guests continue to rave about how beautiful the mountain backdrop was. I will recommend Headwaters to anyone who is looking for an amazing mountain venue.
